Stunning pair of large French antique romantic bronze wall sconces for candles, Art Nouveau candleabra, circa early 1900s.
These are an amazing pair of __candle sconces and they are very heavy. They appear to have been only used as __candle sconces but on the back you can see there are appropriate holes for cables to be added. Should you so desire they could be changed into electric wall sconces. Myself, I love them as candle sconces as they are so very romantic and beautiful.
In very good, strong vintage condition, they have a lovely patina and do have signs of vert de gris. All this adds to their great antique character.
These are beautiful large sconces which would make an exquisite Art Nouveau styled addition to any home. They look wonderful on either side of a fire place or adorning a very special mirror or painting.
